RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Training the next generation

Our clinic is proud to offer medical residency programs as part of our mission to prepare young doctors for work with patients who are socio-economically disadvantaged. Each year, over 70 medical residents, 4 pharmacy residents and 18 medical students rotate through training at our clinic. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente are among our partners in this important work.

Residents at our clinic are an integral part of our team approach to treating the whole patient. To ensure a comprehensive approach to care by residents, as well as the application of the latest evidence-based medicine, a senior staff physician works with residents to coordinate patient care.
